Alex Revzin has received a 2011 Partnerships for Innovation Commercialization Plan Award. The award will support development of a commercialization plan for a new diagnostic tool for rapid detection of infectious disease. Prof. Revzin’s team includes Michael Howland, Timothy Kwa, Julia Choi, Brian Eller, Greg McParland, and mentors Barry Zakar and Maurice Herbelin. Prof. Revzin’s group is one of three recipients of the 2011 award. The Medical Technology Commercialization Clinic (MTCC), sponsored by the NSF Partnerships for Innovation award to UC Davis, brings together multidisciplinary teams led by experienced entrepreneurs to move medical technology solutions to market.
