Dr. Jiawei He will be speaking about the difficulties and challenges of getting one’s foot in the door in industry and how to overcome them. His talk will also cover what job interviewers look for and his experiences as an interviewer. Finally, he will discuss what opportunities are available and the many hats he wears on a daily basis at his job. Brief Bio: Dr. Jiawei He received a B.S. in Bioengineering at UC Berkeley, and then completed his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at UC Davis (2010). Currently, a scientist at Integra Lifesciences, Dr. Jiawei He focuses on new product feasibility and development as well as product transfer support.
