Dr. Emilie Roncali, assistant project scientist with the UC Davis Biomedical Engineering Department’s Cherry Lab, was honored with the Poster Award at the university’s recent Liver Research Day. 

Her award-winning research poster — “Evaluation of Yttrium-90 PET/CT for Liver Radioembolization Post-Treatment Monitoring” — is related to a study on Y90 positron emission tomography (PET) after a specific radiation therapy for liver cancer. The study is funded by a Cancer Center grant (NCI P30CA093373).
