Hussain Fatakdawala, a graduate student in the Marcu Lab, won two prestigious awards at the recent campus-wide Interdisciplinary Graduate and Professional Student Symposium (IGPS). He received the Dean’s Prize for Best Oral Presentation in Engineering for his presentation entitled “Imaging coronary arteries using a bimodal catheter combining fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM) and intra-vascular ultrasound (IVUS)”. He also won the Provost’s Prize for Best Student Organized Session with four other students for their panel discussion “Bridging disciplinary barriers togenerate robust approaches to vascular diseases”.
