The UC Davis Design and Prototyping Clinic founded by Angie Louie and Christina Davis, in mechanical and aerospace engineering was the subject of an article in the December, 2010 issue of  PRISM Magazine called, From Capstone to Clinic At a design lab, engineering students gain valuable experience solving problems for medical and veterinary researchers.
