Yu Liu

Yu Liu, a PhD student in the Ferrara Lab, is a student paper finalist for the IEEE Ultrasound Symposium. This is a significant honor. Only 2 or 3 percent of the applicants who request consideration are finalists.  Yu Liu is first author of the paper, titled Quantitative MR-guided transient shear wave imaging for tissue elasticity assessment. Jingfei Liu, Brett Fite, Josquin Foiret, Kent Leach, and Katherine Ferrara are the paper’s co-authors.  As part of the competition, Yu will present and defend her work on the first day of the Conference during poster and oral sessions at the 2016 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium  Tours, France, on Monday, September 19.
